Speciaali Group’s customer, sales, and marketing register.

4. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Personal data is processed in connection with marketing, service development, customer surveys, communications, invoicing, debt collection, reporting, and other customer relationship management activities.

Purchase, transaction, and location data processed in the register may also be used for profiling, targeting marketing activities, and customer communication. Personal data may also be processed in relation to participation in events or other marketing activities.

5. Description of the Register

The register may include the following data necessary for its intended purpose:
Basic information of a company or organization that is a customer of the data controller, such as name and contact details (address, email address, phone number), as well as the contact person’s name and contact information.

Information related to the customer relationship between the data controller and the data subjects, such as order details, meeting records, direct marketing consents and prohibitions, and other communications and service-related data.

Behavioral data of the data subject on the data controller’s website, participation in events, information submitted to events, and contact records.

The first and last name of a data subject registered for an event organized by the data controller, as well as any contact details and other information provided for the event. Self-submitted registration data may include email address, phone number, and address.

6. Regular Sources of Information

Information is collected from the customer, the customer database and billing system, usage and interaction data from websites, blogs, and newsletters, and the customer relationship management system.

7. Regular Disclosures of Data

Register data may be shared within Speciaali Group and with subcontractors of Speciaali Group.

8. Data Transfers Outside the EU or EEA

If necessary, the data controller may outsource the processing of personal data to external companies, which may also be located outside the European Union and European Economic Area, such as in the United States. These companies may process personal data to provide infrastructure and IT services or other services like newsletter distribution. In such cases, data security and proper handling of the register will be ensured through the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield arrangement or by contract using standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Disclosed personal data may include name, address, email address, and phone number.

9. Principles of Register Protection

Access to register data is limited to the data controller and specifically authorized individuals. Only named individuals have the right to process and maintain the register data. Users are bound by confidentiality.

The network and IT devices on which the register is located are protected by a firewall and other technical measures. The devices are located in a locked and monitored space. The customer, sales, and advertising register is not separately classified as confidential material, but it is accessible only with a password known to a representative of the company.

10. Right of Access

Everyone generally has the right to inspect their own data.

The inspection request must be submitted in writing with a personally signed letter or in person at the data controller’s premises. The request should be addressed to the register administrator.

One inspection request per year (12 months) is free of charge.

11. Right to Rectify Data

Everyone has the right to request the correction of incorrect data in the register.

Correction requests should be made in writing and with sufficient detail: the request must specify the name, the incorrect data, and the corrected data. The request should be addressed to the register administrator.

12. Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are data describing the use of the internet service, which are stored, for example, on the user’s computer and can be used to manage communication between the browser and the server. Users can disable the use of cookies by changing their browser settings.

13. Website Usage Statistics

Website usage is anonymously tracked using log files and cookies. Users’ personal data is not linked to traffic statistics.
